A dry dock pulls a ship out of service for maintenance and upgrades, and sailings during that window don't happen. Here's the published Disney Cruise Line schedule as of Oct 14, 2026, and what to do if you're booked near it.
The schedule
Disney Wish: first dry dock, May 8 – May 22, 2027. No sailings during that window; the shipyard hasn't been announced (Source ↗). That's the only Disney Cruise Line dry dock we're tracking right now.
If you're booked on the Disney Wish in May 2027
- Sailing inside May 8–22? Check your reservation in the Disney Cruise Line app or with your travel advisor. Cruise lines generally contact affected guests when a dry dock cancels sailings, but don't wait for that if you have flights or hotels booked.
- Sailing just before May 8? The ship is heading into maintenance, but your cruise should run normally. Expect the occasional "coming soon" sign as crews prep.
- Sailing just after May 22? The first sailings after a dry dock occasionally see last-minute finishing work. It's usually minor, but it's worth watching for itinerary or schedule notices.
- Not booked yet? Avoid the May 8–22 window on the Wish and pick another ship or date.

Bottom line
Only one Disney Cruise Line dry dock is on the books: the Disney Wish, May 8–22, 2027. If your dates don't touch that window, you're fine. If they do, confirm your sailing now rather than waiting.
