How busy is the port? Ships by day

Each day shows how many ships are on the port's schedule (Port Canaveral has seven cruise terminals). Tap a day to see every ship and terminal.

Busiest upcoming days

Know your side before SR 528

    Exit 54A goes to the north-side A terminals (CT5, CT6, CT8, CT10). Exit 54B goes to the south-side B terminals (CT1, CT2, CT3). Your terminal number tells you which.

    Drop off, then park

Pull up to your terminal first so porters can take the bags, then park. Garages and lots sit next to each terminal, so it's a short walk with no shuttle. Parking opens at 10 AM.

    Card only, both days count

Pay $20 a day plus tax on the way in, by card (no cash). The day you sail and the day you return are both charged, so a 4-night cruise is 5 days.

    Where this comes from

Ships, dates, terminals and times are copied as printed from the Canaveral Port Authority master cruise ship schedule (PDF, Nov 2026 to Apr 2027). Times are the ship's scheduled arrival and departure at the berth, not boarding times. Parking, payment, waiver rules, terminal addresses, exits and airport directions are from the port's Directions & Parking page, Passenger FAQs and Port Tariff; directions pins are the coordinates on each official terminal arrival guide. The full data is in port-canaveral.json. The port says schedules and assigned terminals are subject to change: check your cruise line documents or your travel agent before you drive.

    Questions

Which terminal does my cruise ship leave from at Port Canaveral?

Pick your ship and sail date above. The terminal comes from the Canaveral Port Authority master cruise ship schedule, which lists every ship by date and cruise terminal (CT1, CT3, CT5, CT6, CT8 or CT10, plus CT2 in the port's guides). Ships don't always use the same terminal, so check your date, and treat your cruise documents as the final word because the port says schedules and terminals can change.

How much is cruise parking at Port Canaveral?

The port's official rate is $20 per day plus tax for vehicles and RVs, and the day you arrive and the day you get back both count. A 4-night cruise is 5 days ($100 plus tax) and a 7-night cruise is 8 days ($160 plus tax). Port Tariff No. 16 (effective Oct 1, 2026) also lists an oversize vehicle rate of $40 per day.

Can I reserve Port Canaveral parking or pay cash?

No to both. The port doesn't take parking reservations (it says there's parking at every terminal, including oversized spaces for RVs and buses), and it's cashless: you pay by American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover when you enter, before the cruise.

What time does cruise parking open at Port Canaveral?

Parking opens at 10 AM for embarking passengers. Coming back, you can get to your car anytime. Drop your family and bags at the terminal first (porters help with luggage), then park; the garages and lots are next to each terminal, so you walk back with no shuttle.

Which SR 528 exit do I take for my terminal?

Exit 54A for the A terminals on the north side (CT5, CT6, CT8 and CT10) and Exit 54B for the B terminals on the south side (CT1, CT2 and CT3). The result card shows the exit and directions links to the exact drop-off and garage pins from the port's official arrival guide.

Is Port Canaveral parking free with a disability?

The fee is waived only for vehicles transporting certain persons with disabilities that have special equipment (ramps, lifts, or foot or hand controls), display a Florida Toll Exemption Permit, or display a Florida Disabled Veteran (DV) plate. Disabled parking spaces are available at the terminals, and parking agents grant no other waivers.

How far is Port Canaveral from Orlando International Airport?

The port says Orlando International (MCO) is about 45 minutes west: take S.R. 528 East (a toll road) straight to the port. Orlando Melbourne (MLB) is about 25 miles (40 minutes) south and Orlando Sanford (SFB) about 1 hour northwest.
