Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is back at Magic Kingdom on 25 nights from Nov 8 to Dec 22, 2026, and it's selling out early: as of Oct 30, 15 nights are gone and only 2 November nights are left. If it's your first party (we keep seeing "first time and feeling overwhelmed" posts on Reddit ↗), here's what's included, which nights you can still buy, the new menu that came out on Oct 29, where to have dinner, what's closed, and a simple plan for the night. The basics
- When: 7 PM to midnight on select nights, Nov 8 – Dec 22. Party guests can enter Magic Kingdom from 4 PM (Disney ↗).
- Price: $189 to $229 per ticket plus tax, depending on the night. Kids 3 to 9 save $10. Annual Passholders and DVC Members save $10 on select nights from Nov 8 to 20 and Nov 29 to Dec 3.
- No park ticket needed: the party ticket gets you in, and you don't need a park reservation.
- Day guests leave at 6 PM: on party nights, Disney's calendar shows Magic Kingdom closing at 6 PM to regular guests (Magic Kingdom hours ↗; see our park hours calendar).

What's included with the ticket
- Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, with Santa riding in at the end.
- Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, which Disney says you can see from most of the park, including Liberty Square, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.
- Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration stage show at Cinderella Castle, and the Frozen Holiday Surprise with Elsa, Anna and Olaf.
- Santa's Christmas Carnival in Storybook Circus and Club Tinsel, a dance party at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland.
- Holiday overlays: Space Mountain (holiday music and lighting), Tomorrowland Speedway "Race Through the Holidays," the Mad Tea Party Christmas party and a holiday Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. Jingle Cruise runs all day, not just at the party.
- Free treats: cookies and hot and cold holiday drinks at marked spots, plus "snowfall" on Main Street, U.S.A.

What's closed on the nights you can still buy
- Tiana's Bayou Adventure (and Tiana's Bayou General) close Nov 2. The ride is expected back Dec 18, per the My Disney Experience refurbishment calendar as reported by WDWMAGIC ↗, but Disney hasn't confirmed it. Every party night that's still on sale falls inside that closure. Disney's party page still lists the ride for PhotoPass ride photos, so don't count on it.
- Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress is closed until late spring 2027 (WDWMAGIC ↗).
- The Walt Disney World Railroad reopened Oct 29, but only runs between Main Street, U.S.A. and Storybook Circus. The Frontierland station stays closed (WDWMAGIC ↗).

The new menu (and what you can get without a party ticket)
Disney posted the full party food guide on Oct 29 (Disney Parks Blog ↗). A few picks, all party-only unless noted:
- Gingerbread Cheesecake Beignets and Gingerbread Cola at Golden Oak Outpost (Frontierland, mobile order).
- Tostada de Nochebuena, Pluto Reindeer Cake and Carne Asada Loaded Fries at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe (open until 10 PM on party nights).
- Holiday Pot Roast Melt and Snow Cheese Chicken Strips at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café (open until midnight, mobile order).
- Nice List Shake at Auntie Gravity's, Very Merry Mickey Sundae at Storybook Treats and the Holiday Brownie Sundae at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor.
- Peppermint Bark Funnel Cake and Mongolian Beef Bao at Sleepy Hollow (Liberty Square, open until midnight).
No party ticket? The Gingerbread Milkshake at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is on during regular hours through Jan 2, 2027, and The Plaza Restaurant serves its holiday Reuben, Santa's Floridian Pulled Pork sandwich and Red Velvet Cheesecake during regular hours from Nov 1 to Jan 2.
Where to eat dinner before the party
This came up on Reddit ↗ this week. Since party guests can enter at 4 PM, you can eat inside the park instead of rushing in after dinner elsewhere. Disney lists three table-service restaurants for party nights (Disney ↗; hours from the food guide ↗):

All three need a party ticket for that night, and Disney recommends reservations. If you can't get one, quick service is easy: Cosmic Ray's, Sleepy Hollow, Golden Oak Outpost and The Friar's Nook stay open until midnight, and several take mobile orders.
A simple party-night plan for a family
- 4 PM – 6 PM: walk in at 4 with your party ticket. Day guests are still in the park until 6, so use this time for dinner (book a 4:30 or 5 PM table) or a quick-service meal before the crowds.
- 6 PM – 7 PM: day guests head out at 6. Hit one or two big rides and grab your first free cookies and cocoa when the party starts at 7.
- Pick your one big show first. With little kids, choose the parade or the fireworks as the priority and find your spot early. Check the app for the night's times.
- After the fireworks: save the holiday overlays for last and ride them (Space Mountain, Speedway, Mad Tea Party) and do Santa's Christmas Carnival if the kids are still up.

How much are Very Merry Christmas Party tickets?

Is Tiana's Bayou Adventure open during the Christmas party?
Not on any of the nights still on sale. Tiana's Bayou Adventure closes for refurbishment Nov 2, 2026 and is expected back Dec 18, per the My Disney Experience refurbishment calendar as reported by WDWMAGIC. Disney hasn't confirmed the date. The only party nights after Dec 18 (Dec 18, 20 and 22) are already sold out.
